The exhibition showcase the art of printed fabrics by 31 designers from the 1930s to these days. The special focus is from the 1950s to 1980s when the field of fabric design in Finland expanded and began to receive wider international attention. Also the textiles designed by Howard Smith featured in the exhibition are mostly from that period, such like Makeba which you can find in the archive at catalogue number 45.
